Numbers USA’s head, James Robb, posted his great news that “Leading Evangelicals Show that Bible Has Been Misinterpreted”. That is, he means, by people like me, who don’t see alligator-infested border moats in the Bible. Continue reading “Numbers USA’s Bible study doesn’t quote the Bible”
It must have something to do with the article I posted: “Numbers USA’s Bible study doesn’t quote the Bible”. Number’s USA’s article had claimed the Bible is on the side of restricting legal immigration. It quoted an “evangelical leader” whose website on the subject likewise didn’t quote a single verse on the subject.
I imagine Krikorian found it fairly hard to attack God’s authority to speak on a subject for which His support is alleged, so Krikorian picked the much more vulnerable target: me. Continue reading “It’s easier to attack the Bible’s defenders than the Bible”
Several years’ worth of amazing articles about immigration were posted at the blog site, “www.CafeConLecheRepublicans.com”. A bunch of my articles were posted there too. Here are some of them. Unfortunately the website has been deactivated. So the record of them that remains is on the “Wayback Machine” at www.web.archive.org. Continue reading “Amazing Immigration Articles”
The quickest way to get thrown out of the Republican party is to get a degree in economics, and then say something about immigration.
There is a classic scene from the movie “Downfall”, about Hitler’s last days in an underground bunker, that has been pirated to add different English subtitles to, usually with very funny results. This statement attempts a solution that is best for both citizens and immigrants, upon which all should be able to agree after studying the facts together. You can add your corrections, additions, clarifications where this is posted as a wiki at www.SaveTheWorld.Saltshaker.US. Continue reading “The Immigration Solution best for our Economy, our Security, and our Faith”
Even though “Economic Opportunity” was part of the title of the Senate’s 2013 immigration bill, and even though claims of economic harm to citizens from very much immigration are the justification for nearly 2,000 pages of immigration laws (not counting administrative rules and case law) that create arbitrary quotas on how many can come here legally who aren’t coming to kill us but just to work hard with us, real economists have been only 4% of the “expert witnesses” before Congress at immigration hearings. They were outrageously outnumbered by armchair “economists” who would not have been allowed to testify in any court because they have no credentials. Continue reading “Undocumented “economists” vastly outnumber real economists at immigration hearings”
It is not generally known among immigration restrictionists that any economist disagrees. Much less that they all do. Continue reading “The Restrictionists have no Credentials”
Part 2: E-verify’s critique by Alex Nowrasteh (Cato Institute economist) critiqued by Jeremy Beck’s (NumbersUSA) whose critique is critiqued here by me. Continue reading “Criticism of E-verify criticism criticized”
Part 1 – E-Verify vs Best Interests of Citizens
See if you can spot the inconsistency between these two “planks” (positions) of the Polk County Republican “Platform” (our goals for lawmakers): Continue reading “What if E-verify costs us everything and can’t stop “amnesty” anyway?”
